Honey-Glazed Brussels Sprouts w/ Red Onion

12 ounces Brussels sprouts, halved
1/2 small red onion, halved and sliced
1/2 cup water, divided
1 tablespoon honey
2 teaspoons canola oil
1/8 teaspoon salt
Ground black pepper

In a skillet, combine the sprouts, onions, ¼ cup in, water, honey, oil, and salt. Stir to mix. Cover and set over medium-high heat. Cook stirring occasionally, for about 8 minutes, or until the sprouts are crisp-tender and glazed.  Add scant amounts of the remaining water, if needed, if the bottom of the skillet is browning to fast. Season to taste with pepper.

Per serving: 77 calories, 13 g carbohydrate, protein, 3 g fat, 4 g fiber
