Traditional Christmas Cookies
At Our House

Every year, my son, Jason, would make these cookies for the family.   When Jason left us, I continued the tradition and my family wants to share them with you this year!

1 box Ritz Whole Grain Cracker  (you can use regular if you wish)
1 20 oz jar of you favorite Creamy Peanut Butter
2 pkgs.  of Almond Bark … Vanilla or Chocolate or both

You are going to make cracker cookies by spreading about 1/2 teaspoon of peanut butter on a cracker and placing another cracker on top of it.

Once you have finished with the crackers….
In a microwavable container (I use a plastic tub) melt about 6 blocks of Almond Bark.  Be careful you don’t over heat it because it will burn….about 2 mins. is sufficient.

With tongs, dip the cookies in the bark, shake off excess bark, and place them on waxed paper to cool.

It is very hard to figure the nutritional information for this recipe because it all depends on how much peanut butter you spread on each cracker and the amount of the Almond Bark you leave on the cookie.  My best guess-tament follows…

Each cookie contains approximately:
Protein 1 gm……..Come to think of it, it is CHRISTMASJust  ENJOY!
